Spicy coconut margarita
For those of you craving a sweet, spicy and tropical cocktail, you will be glad you tried this one. If you are not a fan of spice, leave out the Xilli and you will not be disappointed.
2 ounces tequila blanco
½ ounce orange liqueur
½ ounce fresh lemon juice
¾ ounce Coco Real cream of coconut
⅛ ounce Xilli Tequila
Shake with ice and pour over nugget ice in a salt rimmed DOF glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Elderflower Old Fashioned
This floral adaptation of an Old Fashioned takes it from an evening drink to an afternoon delight.
2 ounces bourbon
½ ounce elderflower liqueur
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
¼ ounce simple syrup
lemon peel garnish
Shake with ice and pour over a large ice cube in a DOF glass. Garnish with lemon peel.
Amaretto Whiskey Sour
A traditional amaretto sour is very sweet and contains raw egg. This version adds whiskey and replaces the egg with Fee Foam for a modern and deliciously balanced cocktail.
1 ounce amaretto
1 ounces bourbon whiskey
1 ounce lemon juice
3 dashes fee foam
Shake with ice and serve in a coupe glass or in and DOF glass with a large clear ice cube.
AVIATION
The pleasing purple hue of this cocktail makes it a favorite for a ladies happy hour.
2 ounces gin
½ ounce maraschino liqueur
¼ ounce crème de violette
¾ ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Shake with ice and serve in a coupe glass and garnish with a brandied cherry.
